BIA/Headstart Program – Early Intervention Module

dataopsTribal

Early intervention is a tribal program that tracks development progress of children from birth through 5 years of age. The first three years are funded under a Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) program and from three to five years of age their progress is monitored under Head-start program.  DataOps created a management system that kept information about the children’s developmental progress and advancement through both programs. This allowed staff to quickly review status and have valuable historical references, medical documents, case notes and growth progress readily available. In addition, DataOps built both BIA compliant quarterly, Head-start compliant and ad-hoc graphical reporting. Manager of program reported using the data captured in the management system to identify seizure affliction and secured millions in funding to address.
